We all know Meera aka Meera jee because of her style of speaking English and sometimes controversial videos. This time she came into limelight when she posted videos and photos on Instagram appealing to the government and Prime Minister of Pakistan as she was quarantined in a hotel room in New York because of Covid-19. She posted ‘’ New York is becoming a graveyard,” every day thousands are dying and I don’t want to die on foreign soil.” She posted another video on Instagram in which she appealed to the Prime Minister that its 2 am in New York and I am here and I’m stuck here in a hotel room kindly help me out.

After a lot of struggle she finally landed on home soil and she posted a video on her Instagram in which she was very thankful to Pakistani govt. and the Pakistani embassy in Washington and New York.  Meera’s video comes exactly a month after the big names’ arrival and the on-screen character is stating that she has no reserve funds left to support herself in New York any longer. This is the second time an artiste has grumbled about being stuck abroad because of the end of our airspace. Meera’s video comes six days after the protected return of the cast and team of “Ishrat Made in China from Thailand”. The whole group of 21 individuals alongside the Director, Muhib Mirza, additionally had comparable recordings during their time abroad. Considering their shoot had finished on March 25, supporting such a large number of individuals in a lodging for such a long time had gotten tricky.

She uploaded the video saying, “On account of Allah, I am back in Pakistan. A major whoop to Pakistan Embassy Washington and New York Consulate. You folks are best. You make a solid effort to help our Pakistanis abroad. Pleased with you and appealing to God for you! Remain favored Pakistan!”
