Allama Zameer Akhtar Naqvi died of a heart attack

Well known Khatib Allama Zameer Akhtar Naqvi has died of a heart attack. According to close associates of Allama Zameer Akhtar Naqvi, he was shifted to a private hospital last night but he could not recover and was reunited with Khaliq Haqiqi. The body of the deceased will be shifted to ‘Ancholi Imambargah’.


Allama Zameer Akhtar Naqvi was born on March 24, 1944 in Lucknow, India. He was a Khatib as well as a poet. Zameer Akhtar Naqvi has written dozens of books on the life of the martyrs of Karbala, including poetry and mourning.


Governor Sindh Imran Ismail has expressed sorrow over the demise of Allama Zameer Akhtar Naqvi and while praying for his forgiveness and elevation of ranks, said that he prayed to Allah Almighty to grant patience to the bereaved family.
