Babar Azam loses top position in ICC Men’s T20 – ICC T20I Ranking

Babar Azam’s rule in the world T20 rankings has come to an end. English batsman Dawid Malan not only performed well in the T20 series against Pakistan but also in Australia, as a result of which he jumped four places to occupy the first position. The rule of Babar Azam, the captain of the ruling national team, came to an end.

Aaron Finch is third and KL Rahul is fourth in the T20 batsmen’s rankings, while other batsmen include Colin Munro, Glenn Maxwell, Hazratullah Zazai, Evin Lewis, Virat Kohli and Eoin Morgan in the top ten respectively.

England batsman Dawid Malan has taken the top position in the rankings after a productive home series against Australia. Malan has progressed four places after a series-topping run total of 129, which included a player of the match effort of 66 in the first fixture. Malan, whose previous best ranking was second in November last year, is now eight rating points ahead of Pakistan captain, Babar Azam.
