Saudi Culture Minister Meeting With Indian Producers
Prince Badr led a delegation that visited India for three days to discuss opportunities for cooperation with the Indian film industry.
Saudi Arabian Minister Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al-Saud, a president of the Saudi Movie Committee, said that visits are within the scope of developing skills in the movie industry. It was added that he had to promote a sense of cultural exchange with the world.
Prince Badr led a delegation that visited India for three days to discuss opportunities for cooperation with the Indian film industry. The delegation consisted of representatives of the Saudi Arabia Film Commission and Film Alula.
Prince Badr met with Indian producers and filmmakers such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Akshay Kumar. Minister aims to implement training programs, develop investment opportunities and support the Kingdom’s filmmaking infrastructure. The conference also witnessed the presentation of the Red Sea International Film Festival and how it could contribute to the region’s film industry and produce Indian films.
